What woman doesn’t want to have “perfect” legs? “Perfect Legs” can have different meanings for various individuals. For me, physically it means to have tanned, virtually flawless legs. Symbolically, it means to have the confidence to strut around in a pair of shorts or a dress and truly believe you are beautiful.
I have not always felt comfortable showing off my legs, but over the years I have become more confident in my own skin. Make up has helped me in a sense to gain this confidence. Wearing makeup does not have to mean that you are trying to cover up who you are. For me I love it because I truly believe it emphasizes a person’s true beauty. So, going back to having “perfect legs” why can’t you emphasize the true beauty of your legs with make up?
Well apparently you can. Sally Hansen’s Air Brush Legs claims to give you “perfect legs in an instant!”. Before I started researching this product I was leaning toward a sort of foundation that could be used for the legs. As I learned more about Air Brush Legs and saw more pictures it looked like I had found what I was looking for. Specifically, I did not want a kind of self-tanner that looked orange.
I ended up purchasing Sally Hansen Air Brush Legs from Shoppers Drug Mart for only $9.99! I was debating whether to get Medium Glow or Tan Glow, and settled on Medium Glow thinking that Tan Glow would be too dark for me (even for the summer time).
Application: I started off by shaking the bottle and spraying it into the palms of my hands. Then I applied the desired amount of product onto my legs. I waited about 10 minutes until I sat down (the directions recommend 60 seconds, but I didn’t want to risk transferring the product onto my clothes and furniture). After, I looked at my palms and immediately noticed the overwhelming amount of shimmer that was still on there. Since the product is water-resistant I used soap and water and it came off.
Final Thoughts: I was skeptical about Air Brush Legs because of all the negative reviews for the amount of shimmer in the product, and as you can see in the picture above, it is quite visible. Personally, I do not mind it too much, but if you are not a fan of a lot of shimmer, I would not recommend this product.
Coverage-wise I am really happy with how the product helps even my skin tone and adds a beautiful, healthy glow to my legs even when I'm not tanned. I don’t know if I would risk wearing a white pair of shorts when using Air Brush Legs, but I am going to try it out anyways and find out for myself.
For those of you who prefer a product that is easier to apply you can give the new lotion version of Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs.
Let me just tell you that this packaging makes the product 100 times easier to apply. It literally looks like a foundation when you squeeze it out of the tube. The other difference I found between this packaging and the original is that this cream/lotion version is completely matte.Other than the application the product gives the exact same effect to your legs.
Overall, I love Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs. I will definitely repurchase the cream/lotion version as long as they make it!
I absolutely love how tan they look
ReplyDelete@bettzy93 haha thanks doll. I’d like to thank the sun for the tan and Sally Hansen Air Brush Legs for the glow
ReplyDeleteHey, I have tiny pores on my legs, will this product cover it up?
ReplyDelete@Kavleen Thanks for following! I do believe it would cover them up nicely, but I always recommend you try something yourself because what may work for some people may not work for others. I've bought products after reading great reviews about them and end up not liking them at all. Same goes for products with bad reviews too- sometimes I don't see why people are so critical lol.
ReplyDeleteHope this helps!
wow this really helps! i am debating whether to get medium or tan glow.. after reading this, i may go with medium like you did :)
